The Super Bowl has become a national holiday for the most part. There is a long and rich history of tremendous games played on these special Sundays. The 1990's saw the Dallas Cowboys win the most Super Bowls with three. They beat all their opponent by double digits and firmly established themselves as the best franchise in the league. Their only real challenger was the San Francisco 49ers and the matchups between the two teams were classic. The past decade was ruled by the New England Patriots winning three championships. The Pittsburgh Steelers won the second most with two. Super Bowl XLVI will be played at Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis.
